“Love Without Borders” is a one-page narrative in the voice of the Ethiopian (Yared), who journeyed to Jerusalem in search of Yahweh, the God of the Israelites. Yared grappled with the meaning of the Scriptures until one day when a stranger joined him on his chariot and unlocked the revelation that Jesus Christ was the long-awaited Messiah foretold by the prophets. Overwhelmed with joy, he was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ and returned to Ethiopia as a transformed man, committed to sharing the good news and nurturing disciples in his homeland. Yared’s story serves as a testament to the boundless love of God that knows no borders, welcoming all into the inner courts of his love.
